Poon Hill/Ghorepani Trekking & Chitwan Jungle safari tour 10-day trip - Itinerary

Main attraction
Mid -hill cultural area, Gurung, Magar, Brahmin, and Ksetri are the inhabitants mainly, one of the best views from Poon Hill, off the beaten path, with unforgettable short journey, a great photographic site showing whole Annapurna, Dhaulagiri ranges. Protect conserved wilderness.

Accessibility
Fly or drive to Pokhara, by land 7 hr. drive and by air 30 minute, morning transfer to trailhead and starts trek, after the trek again drive back to pokhara from take out point.

The Route
Max. Altitude 3200m. Poon Hill/ teahouse lodges 2700 m., 5-6 hr. average walks per day, easy trail, and temperate climate jungle walk.

Facility
Teahouse lodges managed by ACAP and well trained local villagers. Best cultural teahouse accommodation, safe drinking water facility.

10-Day Teahouse lodge package Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathamndu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Early morning fly to Pokhara and drive to trailhead Nayapul (1070m) trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m) (Approx. 4 hr). Overnight at teahouse Lodge
Day 03: Tikhedhunga (1540m) trek to Ghorepani (2800m) (approx. 4 to 5 hr) overnight at teahouse Lodge
Day 04: Early morning Poon Hill tour for one of the best views of Mt: Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and including Virgin peak Mt: Fish tail. After breakfast start trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (approx. 4 hr) overnight at teahouse Lodge
Day 05: Tadapani (2600m) trek to Ghandruk (1970m) (approx. 4 hr.) incredible jungle walk.
Day 06: Ghandruk - Nayapul (1070m) & drive back to Pokhara and over night stay at hotel.
Day 07: After breakfast drive to Chitwan National park and lunch at resort program start same day.
Day 08: Full day of wildlife activities inside the Chitwan National Park. Jungle safari on elephant-back or by jeep, river canoeing, jungle walk and cultural program in the evening.       
Day 09: Early morning bird watching in the park. After breakfast drive back to Kathamndu.
Day 10: International departure.

Given Package includes the following services:

•     Airport pick up and drop services.
•     Private transport for trekking trailhead and after trekking ending point.
•     Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
•     Kathmandu-Pokhara flight ticket and Pokhara to Chitwan and Chitwan to Kathamndu by tourist bus service.
