Chitwan jungle safari tourChitwan is the richest wildlife reserve in Asia with an area of 932 sq,km established in 1973. In 1984 this Park was Elephantdesignated by UNESSCO as a natural world Heritage Site in view of the scope and contribution of this Park. The park is 160 KM. south west of Kathmandu ideally located in Narayani river valley 5-6 hours drive or 20 minutes flight from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Bharatpur domestic airport in Chitwan. The home of the indigenous people “Tharu” and one can easily discover one- horned rhinos, lumbering elephant, gharials, crocodiles family with the rare species of Marsh mugger, Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, sloth bears, wild boars and many species of deers, and the largest number of zoological species of local and migrated birds more than 450, and numerous flora to be discovered.

Elephant riding and walking through the dense forest makes the unique experience of a safari tour. There are many hotels and Resorts operating outside and inside the Chitwan National park providing packages safari tour to the interested individual and groups.
