Chola Pass Trekking
One of the most picturesque valleys in Nepal, the Gokyo valley lies towards the west of the more famous Khumbu region of the Himalaya. The serene valley boasts extensive pastures for yaks to graze during summer and the pristine turquoise lakes are simply breathtaking. Gokyo can be visited after trekking up to Everest Base Camp by adding another five days to the itinerary. Cho La pass.It is a trek with unparalled alpine beauty and without doubt the grandest mountain scenery on the world.The highlights of the trek include the Sherpa village of Khumjung, the pristine Gokyo lake, the breathtaking scenery fron the all these passes and the vist to Everest base camp.Unlike other treks in Everest region , this trek makes a loop , hence no tracing back of the route. The good thing about this trek is despite having to cross pass , you do not require any technical climbing and any person with good fitness and previous trekking experience can complete the trek successfully.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,800m.) and trek to Phakding (2,652m.)
Day 03: Phakding – Namche Bazar. (3,440m.)
Day 04: Explore Everest Views Hotel and Khumjung Village (3,790m.)
Day 05: Namche Bazar – Dole (4,040m.)
Day 06: Dole – Machharmo. (4,410m.)
Day 07: Machharmo – Gokyo Lake. (4,750m.)
Day 08: Gokyo Lake – Gokyo Ri Peak (5,360m.) Gokyo.
Day 09: Gokyo Lake – Thangna (4,700m.).
Day 10: Thagna – Cho-La Pass (5,420m.) – Dzanglha (4,843m.)
Day 11: Dzanglha – Labuche (4910m.)
Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep (5,288m.) - Visit Everest Base Camp (5,357m.)
Day 13: Ascent to Kala Pattar (5,545m.) and return to Labuche.
Day 14: Labuche – Dingboche (4,260m.)
Day 15: Dingboche - Hike to Chhukung (4,730m.) back to Dingboche.
Day 16: Dingboche – Tengboche (3,867m.)
Day 17: Tengboche – Namche Bazar.
Day 18: Namche Bazar – Lukla (2,800m.) then transfer to Hotel.
Day 19: Lukla – Kathmandu by flight and transfer at Hotel.
Day 20: Kathmandu free.
Day 21: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey.

Equipment for this trip.
The following gives you a general idea of the trekking equipment and clothing needed for this trek.
This is a porter-supported trek. Two clients share one porter. We will supply you a trek duffel bag where you keep your heavy items and this bag is carried by the porter. You will need to bring your own daypack to be carried by you. In the daypack, you can put money, important documents, water bottle/bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, notebook, etc.
The weight limit for the porter is 30 kg or 66 pounds. 15 kg or 33 pounds for each client. So, we recommend you to pack as carefully as you can and not exceed the weight limit. You can leave your non-trekking stuff at the locker facility in the Kathmandu hotel.

Note: Tight fitting, figure-hugging clothing such as those made with Lycra can often be offensive to locals, especially to women. If you find these items comfortable as a base layer, please pack something to wear on top of them.
